Most important to me
I was raised with Midwest values—the kind that don’t need to be announced because they’re lived every day. I grew up believing that hard work is a privilege, not a burden, and that your word matters just as much when no one is watching as when the room is full. Fair play wasn’t a slogan; it was a standard. You showed up on time, you pulled your weight, and you treated people with respect, whether they could offer you something in return or not.
Those lessons were shaped by early mornings, honest conversations, and an unspoken understanding that effort builds character. I learned that success isn’t about shortcuts or headlines—it’s about consistency, resilience, and doing the right thing even when it’s difficult. When things didn’t go my way, I was taught to own my part, stand back up, and try again with humility and grit.
The Midwest also taught me community. Neighbors helped neighbors. Competition existed, but so did fairness, sportsmanship, and accountability. You won with grace and lost with dignity. That balance—strength without arrogance, confidence without ego—continues to guide how I show up in my work and in my life.
Today, those values remain my foundation. I believe in earning trust, in steady progress over quick wins, and in treating people with honesty and respect. I’m driven, but grounded. Ambitious, but principled. No matter where life has taken me, I carry the Midwest with me—a reminder that real success is built through hard work, fair play, and staying true to who you are.
